Admission

Interested applicants can admit into the programme via the following channels:

  1. Bachelor of Arts in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics (JS2025) – Programme-based admission
  2. Senior-year Entrants for Associate Degree or Higher Diploma Holders

# “Attained” in Citizenship and Social Development will not be included in the admission score calculation.

 

Notes for elective subjects:

1) One of the electives must be any Category A subjects (excluding Extended Part of Mathematics (Module 1 or Module 2));

2) The other elective can be any of the following subjects:

  • a) Category A subjects (including Extended Part of Mathematics (Module 1 or Module 2));
  • b) List of Category B (Applied Learning) subjects that would be recognized as 2nd Elective for JS2025 (from 2024 Entry onwards) 
    (Attained with Distinction (I) or above)
    • Film and Video Studies/ Film and Video

    • Creative Advertising

    • Public Relations and Communication

    • Magazine Editing and Production

    • Applied Learning (Vocational English) English for Business Services

    • Child Care and Education

    • Applied Psychology

    • Practical Psychology

  • c) Category C (Other Language) subjects at Grade C or above.

 

The following JUPAS students will be preferred:

  • Good results in 4 core subjects and 2 elective subjects
  • Good results in Chinese Language and English Language
  • Obtaining 5** in particular subjects
  • Band A in JUPAS application

Calculation of scores for applicants with more than 1 sitting in HKDSE

We accept combined results and will count the best results for meeting our entrance requirements and for the calculation of admissions scores.
