Knowledge Transfer Activities / Projects
  • Participated as a televized academic consultant for the RTHK television show, The Pearl Report, on the theme of “Mormonism in Hong Kong”. Aired in Hong Kong on 26 December 2016.
  • Televised session in Cantonese for Channel A television in Hong Kong, discussing matters of wisdom in the Lúnyǔ 論語/ Analects, and focusing on the distinction between the “gentlemanly ritual scholar” (jūnzí rú 君子儒) and the “petty ritual scholar” (xiǎorén rú 小人儒). Aired in two-minute special selections throughout the year of 2015.
  • Recorded interview with CCTV (China Central Television, documentary channel #9) on the theme of “Missionary-Scholars as Contributors to Sinology”, focusing on the life and works of Matteo Ricci (1552-1610), James Legge (1815-1897) and Richard Wilhelm (1873-1930). Aired in the PRC in mid-May 2014.
