Dr. George Mak Elected as Visiting Fellow of Clare Hall at University of Cambridge
Dr. George Kam Wah Mak, Assistant Professor of Department of Religion and Philosophy, is elected as visiting fellow of Clare Hall at University of Cambridge.
His visit to Clare Hall lasts from April to July 2021.
Clare Hall, founded in 1966, sets high standards for their visiting fellowships. Fellowships are only awarded to those who have made a substantial contribution to their fields, who have an outstanding record of publication, and who enjoy an international reputation for intellectual achievement.
As a historian of Chinese Bible translation, Dr. Mak is an elected Fellow of the Royal Historical Society (FRHistS) and the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland (FRAS). He is currently the Associate Editor of Ching Feng: A Journal on Christianity and Chinese Religion and Culture.
