The Department of Religion and Philosophy is dedicated throughout the past decades to nurturing undergraduate and postgraduate students for their whole-person development. As the only department in Hong Kong which combines religion with philosophy, we continue to strive for excellence in teaching and research in the interdisciplinary studies of religion and philosophy. According to QS University Subject Rankings 2019, for Theology, Divinity and Religion our ranking is #51-100 and for Philosophy our ranking is #101-150.
As our new B.A. (Honours) in Religion, Philosophy and Ethics Programme will change to a hybrid mode of admission (i.e. students will be admitted from programme-based admission or from broad-based admission), student scholarships and bursary schemes will be much needed to attract admission of high caliber secondary school graduates. We welcome your support towards the REL Student Development Fund for the benefit of the fellow students. The Fund will be used to establish student scholarships, provide bursary schemes for needy students, subsidize study tours organized by the Department and support student activities etc.
