You are cordially invited to participate in Rev. Dr. Bonni-Belle Pickard’s book launch for her newly released title, Voices Re-Sounding: Creative Monologues on Biblical Females.
Organized by the Centre for Sino-Christian Studies from HKBU, the talk explores the creative monologues based on female characters from the Bible. Wives or prostitutes, queens or slaves, mothers or daughters, prophets or onlookers, this collection of creative monologues allows the voices of women from the Bible to be heard in new ways.

Speaker Bio:
Bonni-Belle Pickard is the Superintendent Minister of the North Kent Methodist Circuit of the British Methodist Church. She has been working closely with the Medway Chinese Methodist Church. She received her Doctor of Ministry from Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, D.C. Prior to ordained ministry in England, she worked at the Kodaikanal International School in South India for 20 years. She has travelled widely and is interested in cross-cultural reconciliation. Rev. Dr. Pickard recently published monographs, respectively titled Interfaith Marriage: Working for World Peace at the Most Intimate Level and Voices Re-Sounding: Creative Monologues on Biblical Females.
