  • About 700 column articles have been published in Hong Kong Economic Journal (from March, 1989 to March, 1997). The purpose of the column is to introduce philosophy to the public. Hong Kong Economic Journal is a leading local Chinese newspaper in Hong Kong.

  • Invited to contribute a paper entitled “Taking Moral Diversity Seriously - A Discussion of the Foundations of Global Bioethics” in a volume edited by H. Tristram Engelhardt in the Book Series Philosophy & Medicine.

  • Invited by Professor Robert Elliot to contribute a lead essay on the topic "Institutional Global Ethics: Applications" to a writing project, the Encyclopedia of Life Support Systems, which is sponsored by UNESCO and for which Professor Elliot is an editor.

    1. Presented a paper entitled “ 20世紀中國邏輯學史的一個課題 — 中國邏輯學的研究對象與方法 ” at the conference entitled Teaching and Study of Logic in the context of Chinese T ertiary Education sponsored by The University of Taiwan and Taiwan Chung Ching University from 28 th to 30 th June.
    2000

    1. Presented a paper entitled “ Metaphysics and Bioethics ” at the IAB Fifth World Congress of Bioethics organized by the International Association of Bioethics on 21-24 Sept., 2000.
      *There had been 400 applications submitted for the above congress and only half of 400 papers had been accepted for inclusion in the congress.
    2. Served as a panelist and contributed a paper entitled “ Personal Identity and the Ethics of Genetic Engineering: A Comparative Study” in one of the panel at the conference entitled The Eighth East-West Philosopher's Conference - Technology and Cultural Values: On the Edge of the Third Millennium , organized by The Eighth East-West Philosopher's Conference, on 9 th -23 rd Jan., 2000 held in Honolulu, Hawaii.
